“One’s destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things.” – Henry Miller
I had this image sitting in my files for years. We had a sunrise shoot on a rocky shoreline and it turned out to be a gloomy, cloudy day. I couldn’t appreciate the grayish overcast and output then. Today, I came upon my old photo, asking me to see it in a new light. And I did, by converting it into black and white. Now it looks like a painting I’ve always wanted to create.
Sometimes life gently nudges us to view things from a different perspective. We learn to appreciate and accept changes, even if things don’t turn out the way we want them to.
