Romantic Langkawi
The 5-star Tanjung Rhu Resort, located at the northernmost tip of Langkawi Island, is spread over 1,100 acres of sprawling rainforest, healthy mangroves, rolling limestone, and a breathtaking private 2.5 km beach that may well be unmatched anywhere else in the islands. This beautiful long coastline of white sand was included in the National Geographic’s list of the World’s Ten Most Beautiful Beaches.
Soaring over Langkawi
I introduced myself to the resort manager and told him straight, “If you can fly me around the islands I will give you my photos.” Chutzpah, but with a cough to boost.
The very sweet manager called me up at midnight to inform me I would be flying the next day for 15 minutes. Request granted.
