The lotus flower represents long life, health, honor and good luck. In Buddhism, lotus flowers symbolize purity of speech, mind and body rising above the waters of desire and attachment.

There was a drizzle though, so I didn’t go out. Instead, I brought a few to my room and held it up the light between my thumb and forefinger.
