One day I spotted attractive white wind turbines from the plane. At first I thought we were passing over the Bangui Windmills in Ilocos Norte, but I was heading for Manila.

I googled and learned these 27 wind turbines are part of the Pililla Wind Farm located in Rizal.

Covering an area of 4,515 hectares, this wind farm is being undertaken by Alternergy Philippine Holdings Corporation (APHC) granted by the Department of Energy (DOE) with the total construction cost of phase 1 said to be at US$177.9 million. The project consists of 27 operational wind turbine generators grouped into three clusters with aggregate capacity of 67.5 megawatts.

I bet it is awesome to have some selfies taken down there with these giants. From up my plane window, they looked like dainty white flowers in the field.
