“It’s funny how, in this journey of life, even though we may begin at different times and places, our paths cross with others so that we may share our love, compassion, observations, and hope. This is a design of God that I appreciate and cherish.”

I was trying to find out where you live in relationship to the typhoon’s path. I hope you and your family are ok

Thank you very much for your concern. I live in Davao City, south of Mindanao. Though we were out of harm’s way, we are still emotionally affected by the devastating and heartbreaking circumstances of our fellowmen. Our own Mayor has organized a huge team of medical volunteers to provide assistance and support, and the convoy of buses are set to leave the city today en route to the affected areas in approximately more than 17 hours of travel away (by land and sea). We pray for their safety and protection. Please do continue to pray for recovery and hope. We appreciate the outpouring of assistance and humanity from all over the world. Hugs!

So glad you are safe as well as your family. Have you seen my post on the relief efforts Save the Children is doing? I sent in a donation of course to help out. 🙂
