HEEJUN HAN AUDITIONS FOR IDOL

Blame it on the Idol bug that America started.  I’ve been known to obsessively watched over my favorite picks.  However a few years ago, I fell into depression for two weeks when Adam Lambert didn’t win (but he has an incredible career now).  A year after, Simon Cowell left, and I loved him, nasty bite and all.  It left a bitter aftertaste without him.  Enter gorgeous JLo and Steven Tyler.  I so adored the gentle, sensitive rocker.  At his age right now, he still oozes with sex appeal.

But that’s not who I want to talk about now.

So this year, I am back with a vengeance, watching every week.  This dry humored, self-deprecating Korean cutie just won my heart the minute he walked into the audition room (apparently, he stole JLo’s too).  He has my heart until the end of his Hollywood journey (and I really hope it will be much much later in the finals).  He is incredibly, adorably, funny.  Rumor is that he’s getting in the finals. We will just have to find out, shall we? Much like the Korean addictive telenovelas they unleashed to the unsuspecting Asian viewers.

Heejun works with an NGO for special children in New York.  Cutting and pasting a statement from his cousin, here goes:

Well, if you just heard one of his friends confessing “I’ve never heard of him singing,” the same case
goes for me too. In fact, even Heejun’s family members don’t get to hear him singing that often.

He’s a very humble guy, and he loves to help others in the community.
Every week, he volunteers at a non-profit organization to help those with disabilities.
Heejun is bilingual, fluent in both Korean and English, and he’s a very candid & funny Christian!
