“I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go. Things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they go right. You believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart, so that better things can fall together.” ~ Marilyn Monroe
The word serendipity is a favorite word of mine. When the movie of the same title came out, it became my favorite romantic comedy as well. The word has this kind of romantic melodious tone to it, better than saying to someone, “it was destiny”, or “it was meant to be”. Kismet, though, has a more sensual ring to it, but I shall save that for later.
Serendipity is a happy accident, a pleasant surprise, or a discovery of something good just when you’re not looking for it.
And what more serendipitous situation could there be than nice and interesting bloggers “accidentally and wonderfully” finding one another on the internet?
Thank you, Anne, for posing with me during sunrise. I wish you well on your own serendipity too.
