“One of the most satisfying experiences I know is fully to appreciate an individual in the same way I appreciate a sunset. When I look at a sunset…I don’t find myself saying, ‘Soften the orange a little more on the right hand corner, and put a bit more purple along the base, and use a little more pink in the cloud color…’ I don’t try to control a sunset. I watch it with awe as it unfolds.” ~Carl R.Rogers

Tagaytay is beautiful, most especially when the sun sets, and the air is very cool. In 2003, I had the unique opportunity of flying inside the volcano’s crater from a tiny chopper. This experience has pushed me into serious photography. Nature tempted me to get serious with my camera.
But I have yet to post this old story (exploring Taal) on this blog. Maybe tomorrow. Sometimes, old memories are harder to remember in detail if I hadn’t written about them in the past. Good thing I only have to dig up my old newspaper articles. (grin)
